On 24 June 2009, His Majesty the King visited the population of Kompong Tralach, while inaugurating the opening of a work site of a general and vocational secondary school named after His Majesty : “Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Sihamoni”, located in O Russey – district de Kompong Tralach – in Kompong Chhnang province. Accompanying His Majesty, Samdech Norodom Sirivuth, Privy Councilor to His Majesty, Samdech Chauvea Veang Kong Sam Ol, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Royal Palace, His Excellency Mr Sar Kheng, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister, His Excellency Mr Im Sithy, Minister for Education, Youth and Sport, and members of the Royal family and other top officials. His Majesty donated the village monks with cash and material.
