On 18 December 2008 HM the King visited the poor villagers in Svay Tani village, Prey Kuy commune, S Ang district, province of Kandal. In His humanitarian visit, HM the King was accompanied by Samdech Chauvea Veang Kong Sam Ol, Deputy Preme minister and Minister of the Royal Palace, HE Mr Chhun Sirun, provincial governor of Kandal, and provincial officials. A new bridge built by the Palace team was at the villagers service. HM the King visited Svay Tani village and workers in the fields. Financial and material support was given to poor families.
