On 12 March 2010, Académiciens des Inscriptions et Belles-Lettres’s members hosted a solemn reception to celebrate the historic installation of HM the King to the Académie des Inscriptions et Belles-Lettres. Afeter Mr Pierre-Sylvain Filliozat’s speech, President of the Académie des Insciptions et Belles-Lettres, and the presentation of khmer heritage preservation by Mr Franciscus Verellen, member of Académie des Inscriptions et Belles-Lettres and director of l’ Ecole Française d’Extrême Orient, HM Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni delivered a speech before the distinguished assembly in presence of buddhist monks, royal family members, des compatriots living in France, des French senior officials and Cambodian friends.
