On November 9, 2008, Upon His return from the Independence Monument where He lit the Flame of Victory, His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni listened to the speech of Samdech Akka Mohasenapadey Decho Hun Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia before delivering a Royal Message praising the Royal Government of Cambodia and reminding the heritage left by His Majesty King-Father Norodom Sihanouk, the Father of National Independence. Afterwards, His Majesty the King attended the parade organized by all the Ministries.
