On June 27, 2006, His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni granted an audience to a Delegation of a Japanese Buddhist Organization led by the venerable Kazuhiro Higashi and assisted by Mr. Ty Dy. The Delegation offered His Majesty 10 tons of rice to be distributed to the needy Cambodian people.
