On 10th October 2014 afternoon, HM the King and HM the Queen Mother observed, in the Throne Hall, the Royal Kathen Tean ritual, a Buddhist ceremony consisted in supplying Buddhist monks with offerings. This year Their Majesties chose Meadekaram Pagoda, in Svayrieng city, Province of Svayrieng, as a pagoda to receive the Royal Kathen Tean offerings.
