Royal audience with
the “4th Trail of civilizations and Performance ” delegations

On 27 April 2010 in Serey Monkol Palace, HM the King granted an audience to Buddhist delegations from 14 countries and members of the Barubudur Declaration mainly :
- The Républic of Indonesia with H.E. Jero Wack, Minister of Culture and Foreign Affairs,
- The Democratic Republic of Laos with H.E. Somphong Mongkon Vilay, Chairman of National Tourism,
- Myanma, with H.E. Général Aye Myint Kyu, Vice Minister of Culture , Tourism and Sports,
- Thailand with H.E. Chumpol Silapa-Archa, Minister of Tourism and Sports,
- The S.R. of Vietnam with H.E. Huynh Vinh Ai, Vice Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sports,
- Brunei Dar es Salam with H.E. Pehin Dato Yahya, Minister of Industry and Resources,
- Malaysia with Mrs. Dato Sri Dr Ng Yen, Minister of Tourism,
- The Republic of the Philippines with Mr De Vera Peter Agustin, Chairman of the Philippines Cultural Association,
- The Republic of Singapore with Mr. Jin Chwen Ong, Director of the Singapore Council for Tourism,
- The Republic of India with H.E. Rajesh Kuma Sachdeva, Indian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia,
- The People’s Republic of China with Mr.Wang Jian, Secretairy General of the Buddhist Association in China,
- Japan with Venerable Shinkai Kori, Acting Chairman of Japanese Buddhism,
- The Republic of Korea with H.E. Lee Kyun-Soon, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Kingdom of Cambodia,
And the Czech delegation with Mr. Zdenek Franek.
S.E. Thong Khon, Cambodian Minister of Tourism, and Vice Chairman of the Committee of « Trail of civilizations and Performance » related the history of this Association. Dr. Solsilo Bumbang Yutho Yono, President of the Republic of Indonesia founded this association which witnessed 3 buddhist events from 2006 to 2009 at Barabudur Temple , a World heritage. These events coincided with Visak Bochea celebrations.
This year 2010 the Kingdom of Cambodia hosted the event of “ 4th Trail of civilizations and Performance” in the glorious city of Siem Reap.
