On 30 december 2008 HM the King, accompanied by Samdech Chauvea Veang Kong Sam Ol was inaugurating the Jayavarman 7 Hospital in Siem Reap. The children patients received royal donations materially and financially. Among the local authorities in charge, other government officials went to pay their respect to HM the King : the governor HE M. So Phearin and his wife, HE M. Tea Banh, Vice Prime minister, and Defense Minister, HE M. Mam Bun Neang, Health minister and Prof. Beat Richner. Also present on this occasion, the diplomatic corpse, and other guests HM the King donated 10,000 USD to the Hospital.
